It sounds like it may be an Brussels Griffon, but it could also be a Affenpincher.

It sounds like an affenpinscher, if it is in fact a purebred dog. But unless you have papers for it, there's no way to tell for sure whether it's a purebred or not. It could be a mutt or a crossbreed.
But if it is a purebred, I would say affenpinscher or Brussels griffon. If it's a cross, which is much more likely, it's possible that it has pug, schnauzer, poodle, or pekinese in it.
