HELLPP!!

Shedding!!!!!!!!!!!?

You can take him to your local dog groomers and they will use a speciel shedding brush or you could get him shaved... good luck

Shedding!!!!!!!!!!!?

you have to brush him twice daily to reduce the amount of fur he sheds.

Shedding!!!!!!!!!!!?

Dogs shed. Please do not shave him. Brush him regularly and it will cut down on the hair falling everywhere else.

Shedding!!!!!!!!!!!?

Combing him works.

Shedding!!!!!!!!!!!?

Labs shed like crazy! Get yourself a good vacuum and take him out every day to brush him. There's nothing that's going to really stop the shedding though, it's just how they are.

Shedding!!!!!!!!!!!?

brush him: they like it and it reduces the shedding. Also, it's normal that dogs would shed a lot around this time of year: they are losing their winter fur so they will be fresh and cool come spring and summer. =]

Shedding!!!!!!!!!!!?

Shaving him isn't going to do anything other than make him shed shorter hairs and it will probably grow back with a funky texture.

One of the greatest brushes for shedding dogs is the Furminator. Its expensive but works very well at removing the dead hair.

You can also use a regular shedding blade; they're the things that look sort of like saws.

If he's really shedding, take him to a good dog groomer for a bath. A good groomer with brush all the dead hair out of the coat and use a blow dryer that will blow all the dead hair off and decrease shedding considereably

Shedding!!!!!!!!!!!?

keep him groomed. Just like you do your self

Shedding!!!!!!!!!!!?

Yep brush him daily. Try getting some high quality shampoo that will sometimes lessen the shedding. Also make sure you give him high quality dog food as well. I babysat an obese corgi and he shed much more then he should. You'll poke him and a puff of fur will fly off! We switched him to a balanced diet, exercised him and my mom noticed that he shed so much less! (because she's then one vacuuming and mopping the floors.

Shedding!!!!!!!!!!!?

You need to brush him several times a year.

This is one thing labs do and if researched you would have known they are moderate to heavy shedders.

Shedding!!!!!!!!!!!?

I have one word for you...FURMINATOR!! Go to your favorite pet supply place and pick one up. You will say "I cannot spend this much on a dog comb" and you will want to put it off. But I tell you it is worth it. I have two labs and one of them has the thickest coat in labrador history. I put off buying the silly thing for ages until last summer when the fur was like tumbleweed in my house. So I got it, I give them a very thorough furminating every few weeks. I sit outside for a while and I get out another dog's worth of hair. They still shed (they are labs after all, you can't escape it), but the big clumps and the excess is greatly alleviated. Be careful though, you can over-furminate. Then weekly brushing in between should manage it.

Shedding!!!!!!!!!!!?

Comb and Brush..........

Shedding!!!!!!!!!!!?

My dog has longer hair and we just shave her. There's nothing wrong with it. My parents do it themselves and then they vacuum her coat.

Shedding!!!!!!!!!!!?

Please do not shave him.

Daily brushing and a high quality diet can help with the shedding.

What food are you feeding him? Try choosing one without corn and wheat. Some dogs react to these ingredients and it can cause lots of shedding. Try to stay away from brands you can find at Wal-Mart/grocery stores/etc. This includes, but is not limited to, Iams, Eukanuba, Purina, Beneful. Ol' Roy, Pedigree, Kibbles n Bits, etc. I highly recommend a high quality kibble such as Canidae, Wellness, Solid Gold, Timberwolf Organics, Innova, EVO, Evangers, Taste of the Wild, Fromm, Life's Abundance, Orijen, Artemis, Natures Variety, Eagle Pack Holistic, Merrick, Flint River Ranch, etc.

Lots of people see a drastic change in their dogs health, coat, and the amount of shedding when they switch to a high quality dog food. Just try brushing your dog daily and feeding him a high quality dog food.

Shedding!!!!!!!!!!!?

You have to supply your dog with the proper vitamins.

My dog takes a liquid vitamin and half a pill mixed in all of his food.

He doesnt shed that much now because his fur coat is very healthy and strong.

Ask your local pet shop for vitamins for dogs. That will help.

Shedding!!!!!!!!!!!?

Most groomers offer a "furminator" treatment for dogs that shed alot..and it works wonders..its a series of shampooing and conditioning with a special brush after wards..it could take over an hour for the whole process and I think costs 15 dollars for 15 min..and the time differs between dogs..but it cuts shedding by about 90 %

Shedding!!!!!!!!!!!?

we have 2 dogs that shed we groom them every 6 months it helps
