Anyone have a laundry trick for washing polar fleece?

When I wash my fleece jackets and pullovers they come out of the dryer looking worst then when they went in,does anyone have a trick they use to help get the lint and dog hair off.Now I'm using a lint brush and hand picking of the lint off.

This may sound silly, but have you tried tape? I use the wide shipping tape to get cat hair off of my upholstery.

Polar fleece goes very badly in the dryer. What it does, it melts the lint and the fleece toghether. Wash all your fleece on warm without overfilling your washer with laundry. Use a little bit of softener and the hair will come out better. When it comes out hang-dry it. If your washer spins well, fleece only takes a couple of hours to dry. Believe me, I learned about "melted fleece" the hard way.
