My 21 year old son came home in a rush today because his office Christmas Party is tonight. He spent an hour trying on different clothes and asking me if it looked OK. I spent 1/2 hour cleaning dog hair from a jacket he decided not to wear anyway. Him asking me for fashion advice is like Abbott asking Costello if HE looks fat. The only thing I caught was, "hey don't wear white sweat sox with slacks and a jacket."

I wonder if we would spend so much time on ourselves if there wasn't an opposite sex to try to appeal to...open for discussion/out.

Girls always dress for the other girls - whether they are straight on not! But otherwise, we are all raised in the US to consider the other gender completely foreign, so of course most folks here would be gay if not for the whole sex thing. LOL

He is a guy just trying to look good in someone elses eyes and looks like his own. whats gay about that. so i could be straight if it wasnt for sex but i like sex amungst the other some odd million ppl in the world. i like sex with another woman. no basis to you question.

Interesting... you're stating that straight men spend an inordinate amount of time trying to look good because they have an "opposite sex" to try to impress and implying that If you ( or he ) were gay... you would be able to just be slobs and no one would care... is that accurate?... Very funny that you have that idea... most people believe the stereotype that gay men spend countless hours in front of a mirror and "try on different outfits" before they go out... I guess you just can't rely on stereotypes for truthful information can you... since judging by stereotypes only... your son would be a flaming queen...

I would be with someone of the same sex because I care about them, and want to be happy. No different then wanting to be with a man to be happy. Sex isn't everything to me, but I'm sure it's pleasurable both ways
