5 second rule?

Would you give your child an apple that had fallen on the dog hair covered floor? Rinsed off, of course!

5 second rule?

Sure, apples cost almost as much as fuel.

5 second rule?

No. If the floor were reasonably clean (no dog hair), then yes, but hair - even washed off - on my food or my kid's food is not OK.

Yuck.

5 second rule?

If it could be washed, yes I would.

5 second rule?

yes, it may have germs on it but it won't kill them, or make them sick, unless all the dog hair was so much that it was visible, then i would throw it away

5 second rule?

Yep. Call me a bad mom, but that one would be OK.

5 second rule?

if u took it to the sink and washed it

5 second rule?

Sure. They're starting to find that kids that are kept in a perfectly sterile home and never come into contact with germs have weakened immune systems.

5 second rule?

Um... NO! That's just gross.

5 second rule?

Uh ya...

Do you think that the baby doesn't get dog hair on or in her any ways?

If there's dog hair on your floor, then I'm sure it's on your couch, on your clothes, on the babies things and in the air.

We have three dogs, we vacuum constantly...and there's still dog hair everywhere.

You'd have to be in denial to think that the baby doesn't come into contact with germies on a regular basis.

You rinsed it...the apple wasn't a furball or anything??

Then don't worry about it...it's fine.

If your kid is anything like most kids...he/she's eating bugs and lint behind your back anyway. lol

All you can do is your best...and even that won't keep all the grossies out of the babies hands 100% of the time.

5 second rule?

If the apple has not been cut, then yes, wash it and give it to your child.

If the apple has already been cut, wash it and recut to remove an dirt/hair

5 second rule?

Peeled no

peeling on yes (if i rinsed it)

5 second rule?

Think how many people have touched the fruit and how many germs are on it even before you take it home and we still rinse it under the tap. If there's a bite out of it i'd cut that bit away.
