I was wondering if there was any guildlines or laws that stop a food deli/candy shop to open after a dog grooming business was in the same store prior....i mean wouldnt that be unsanitary?? how can you sell food after dog hair floated around the room and in the air.....does anyone have any web sights that i can go to or any experiance in this area????i just think its gross to be honest....

The food service place would have been required to pass certain inspections to open, so they would have had to replace air filters and completely clean the store area.

I don't know of any such laws or rules, but it is entirely possible to convert a dog grooming business into a food store by a thorough cleaning, sanitizing, and renovation. Zoning laws and business licenses and permits should control whether or not the business can occupy the facilities.
